This API documentation covers the Payment Session API -- CatalystPay's programmable interface for payment processing. The Payment Session API provides:

  • Payment session management -- Create, track, and manage payment sessions through a RESTful API
  • Hosted Payment Pages -- Branded, configurable payment pages that handle IBAN collection, validation, and mandate acceptance
  • Server-to-server integration -- Direct API endpoints for merchants who build their own payment forms
  • Webhooks -- Real-time event notifications when payments complete, transactions settle, or chargebacks arrive
  • Reconciliation API -- Pull transaction, chargeback, and subscription data for settlement matching and financial reporting

The Payment Session API currently supports SEPA Direct Debit as the primary payment method, with additional payment methods planned for future releases.
